AirLife and UniPD Department of Industrial Engineering cooperating on HIPALSI project

Thanks to the Uni-Impresa co-founding initiative for the cooperation between the University and enterprises starting from April 2018, AirLife and Department of Industrial Engineering (DII) of the University of Padova have initiated a R&D program for the development of a new technology for manufacturing the next generation of catalyst supporting structures.

Using the Additive Manufacturing technology we are developing ceramic components with hierarchically porous structure to be used for the abatement of gaseous pollutants. After almost two years of testing different ceramic mixtures, AirLife and DII decided to extend their cooperation, co-financing a PhD scholarship in order to experiment on specific applications of the obtained results.
